The automotive industry uses a large number of materials to build vehicles. These materials have evolved greatly over the decades, becoming more sophisticated, better built, and safer. Their use has evolved in parallel with the new automotive manufacturing technologies that now are increasingly using innovative ways.
As 2021 marks the start of the EU’s Chemicals Strategy for Sustainability, new requirements for materials compliance are in the pipeline and will bring particular challenges for the automotive industry: such as the revision of REACH, the End-of-Life Vehicle Directive, and the first months of reporting duties in SCIP database. To discuss the developments on these and many other topics, the CLEPA Materials Regulations Event has put together a comprehensive programme with speakers from all over the world.
The conference includes sessions dedicated to sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility during the second day. Click on the image below for the full overview!
