The 5th International Automotive Engineering Conference – IAEC, – organised by OİB (Automotive Industry Exporters Association, Turkey), OSD (Automotive Manufacturers Association, Turkey), TAYSAD (Automotive Suppliers Association of Turkey) and OTEP (Automotive Technology Platform, Turkey) in cooperation with and SAE International (The Society of Automotive Engineers, USA) – under a different annual theme since 2016; will take place online as a virtual Video Conference in 2020.

Automotive Industry, as one of Turkey’s leading industries with remarkable impact on the economy, is targeting to:
• Develop engineering, R&D and innovation capability
• Foster cooperation between universities and the industry,
• Encourage the utilization of alternative resources through engineering companies at national and international level, to increase product development and innovation capability.

The conference aims at reviewing the latest developments in automotive industry with respect to automotive engineering and leading international experts will present latest thinking in the field of “Connected Vehicles & Smart Infrastructure”.

Throughout its 4-day event schedule between November 9-12, 2020, the IAEC’20 will continue to share the latest global advances in automotive engineering with the Turkish automotive industry. With its main theme of “Connected Vehicles and Smart Infrastructure”, the IAEC’20 aims to aid the progress of industry through our list of expert speakers on the subject.

In a multitude of scheduled video conferences over 4 days, the Conference will focus on various topics related to its main theme of “Connected Vehicles and Smart Infrastructure”, such as: “Enablers: The Internet of Things and 5G”, “Data Management, Cloud Computing and Cyber-Security”, “Connected Vehicles Cyber Security”, “Autonomous Vehicles”, “Project OPINA”, “Smart Cities”, “Connected EV’s”, “Education and R&D”.
