SERNAUTO celebrates its 50th Anniversary

SERNAUTO, the Spanish Association of Manufacturers of Automotive Equipment and Components, celebrated its 50-year anniversary on June 15. The commemoration took place at the Círculo de Bellas Artes in Madrid.

 

The event brought together more than 300 attendees, including the Minister of Finance and Public Function, Cristóbal Montoro; The President of SERNAUTO, María Helena Antolin; The Innovation Manager of Deloitte, Elsa Varela; The Senior Digital Manager of Deloitte, Álvaro Rodríguez and the General Director of the Association, José Portilla; The Secretary General of Industry and SME, Begoña Cristeto; The Secretary General of Science and Innovation, Juan María Vázquez; The president of Anfac, Antonio Cobo; And the president of CLEPA (European Association of Automotive Suppliers), Roberto Vavassori, were some of the personalities who attended this meeting.

 

The president of SERNAUTO, reviewed the history of the Association, considered a benchmark for success and good business. “It was born in 1967 to co-ordinate the existing high demand for vehicle manufacturers. The key to success since its inception has been the work of the entrepreneurs who have been part of it. The passion for excellence, innovation, technological differentiation and strong export character have set the road to success “, stressed the President. Antolin added: “SERNAUTO stands out as an open, transparent and professional association that fosters dialogue and relations with public administrations, bodies, companies and the sector as a whole”.
