New member: JOST Group
On 1 November, JOST Group joined us at CLEPA as a Corporate Member, bringing our membership to more than 120. JOST Group was established in 1952 and has since become a leading manufacturer of components for commercial vehicles which are marketed under the brands JOST, ROCKINGER, TRIDEC and Edbro.
JOST Group is headquartered in Neu-Isenburg, Germany and is nowadays owned by leading European private equity firm Cinven. The global workforce amounts to roughly 3000 employees, about 1600 of whom are located in the EU28, with a turnover of more than €600 million. JOST Group has production sites in Europe (Germany / Hungary / Netherlands / Poland / Portugal / Spain / UK), Russia, South-Africa, India, China, United States and Brazil.
Since 1958, JostGroup grew with numerous purchases, mergers and inner developments in order to provide customers with high-quality service and deliver a competitive advantage. Services in the areas of road transport, air and sea freight, logistics, and customs services make of JG a significant player in various sectors of the European and North African markets.
Conventional, refrigerated and dump trailers, container carriers and large range of technical trailers associated to intensive training and use of the latest technology allow JG to provide tailor-sized and advanced logistics projects in complete security and “green” way of working.
