EU data protection Advisory Group
The European Data Protection Supervisor has set up an Ethics Advisory Group on the ethical dimensions of data protection by his decision of 3 December 2015.
The overall objective of the Advisory Group is to explore the relationships between human rights, technology, markets and business models in the 21st century from an ethical perspective, with particular attention to the implications for the rights to privacy and data protection in the digital environment.
This group will be active from February 2016 until January 2018.
Persons who are interested in being part of the Advisory Group are advised to write an email to the EU Data Protection Supervisor (EDPS-ETHICS(at)edps.europa.eu) no later than 18 December 2015, 12 PM CET, explaining what they believe they can bring to the Advisory Group.
