EC: Climate Law roadmaps are open for feedback
This act writes into law the goal set out in the European Green Deal – for Europe’s economy and society to become climate-neutral by 2050.
This means achieving net zero emissions for EU countries as a whole, mainly by cutting emissions, investing in green technologies and protecting the natural environment.
The act will ensure that all EU policies contribute to this goal and that all sectors of the economy and society play their part.
Roadmaps are open for feedback for 4 weeks. Feedback will be taken into account for further development and fine tuning of the initiative. The Commission will summarise the input received in a synopsis report explaining how the input will be taken on board and, if applicable, why certain suggestions can’t be taken up. Feedback received will be published on this site and therefore must adhere to the feedback rules.
