CLEPA presents Future As We Move at the 1st CoRAI Summit on the Future of Autonomous Mobility
In the context of the European Week of the Regions and Cities, the Committee of the Regions Automotive Intergroup (CoRAI) held the 1st Summit on the Future of Autonomous Mobility . The event took place on the 9th of October and was hosted by the European Commissioner Johannes Hahn and the President of the CoRAI Barbara Eibinger-Miedl. and included a conference and an exhibition.
The conference gathered speakers from different European regions, who presented their work on autonomous mobility and research programmes on this specific area. Next to the conference room, the attendees could walk around an exhibition displaying materials of several initiatives on autonomous driving.

At the exhibition, CLEPA presented its campaign Future as we move, and raised awareness about ongoing activities supporting connected and automated driving such as the EU Projects ENSEMBLE and ARCADE.
CoRAI Automotive Intergroup is an interregional group of members and alternate members of the European Committee of the Regions providing opportunities to discuss, exchange views and increase expertise on the “Future of the Automotive Industry” in order to promote cooperation between local and regional authorities.
CoRAI is a platform for informal discussion bringing together members from different parties, committees and member states being interested in future developments of the automotive sector. It was set up and is working successfully since 2009.
