CLEPA participates in the EU Road Safety Exchange launch event

On the 9th of October, ETSC held the EU Road Safety Exchange launch event in Brussels, presenting the three-year project of good practices between 12 Member States.

This event gathered high representatives from the countries joining the project and stakeholders from different sectors involved in road safety.

The agenda included one panel on improvement of road infrastructure from the safety perspective, one on enforcement measures to tackle main killers on the road and a third one dedicated to urban road safety.

Roberto Vavassori, CLEPA President, participated in the third panel, addressing the audience about the latest safety technologies implemented in vehicles:

 

Background

The EU Road Safety Exchange is a funded by the European Parliament and led by the European Commission. The project is managed by ETSC.

The general objective of this project is to reduce the overall number of road deaths and serious injuries on EU roads and help close the road safety gap between EU Member States by providing support to those with the highest potential to make significant improvements.
