CLEPA participates in the ECSEL JU Symposium in Bucharest
The 3rd Symposium of the ECSEL Joint Undertaking Symposium took place in Bucharest on the 17th and 18th of June. It was organised under the auspices of the Romanian Presidency of the Council at the House of Parliament. European and global stakeholders in the Electronic Components and Systems (ECS) field, from Industry, Research and Financial Communities as well as European, National and Regional decision makers and international partners, met to discuss and evaluate major developments within the ECS sector in Europe.
This event gives an opportunity and space for the ECSEL JU projects to present their progress and results to date, to disseminate the scientific and technological achievements, and to cast light on their contributions to the programme.
Sigrid de Vries, CLEPA Secretary General participated in the panel discussion “Synergies and complementarities in RD&I programs across the EU”. From CLEPA’s perspective, the European research Eco-system, bringing together all stakeholders – industry of different sectors, university/academia, public authority, users, services providers – in a defined domain addressed by the EU R&I Framework Programmes can be considered an excellent model for co-operation: this is a European asset that should be strengthened through effective EU policies.
