2017 Helsinki Chemical Forum

This year’s Helsinki Chemicals Forum was held on 8-9 June 2017. The Helsinki Chemicals Forum is an independent forum aimed at promoting chemicals safety and chemicals management globally. The conference is built around high-profile panels and keynote presentations as well as related debates. The themes for the two-day seminar are selected for their global relevance and topicality by the HCF Programme Committee. The forum is organised every year in Finland at Messukeskus Helsinki.

 

Commissioner Elżbieta Bieńkowska, responsible for Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs, gave the keynote speech and discussed with participants the future of Europe and globalisation, and EU Investments for Jobs and Growth. The Commissioner delivered the keynote speech at on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of European Chemicals Agency.
