Impact of industrial espionage and the theft of trade secrets

DG GROW has published a report on the Impact of industrial espionage and the theft of trade secrets through cyber.  The study also examined whether the issue is considered to be a real problem by relevant stakeholders so that appropriate policy responses can be considered. These could include awareness raising actions on the threat and best practice in dealing with it, or the creation of a more systematic data collection based on voluntary reporting using channels where anonymity is ensured.
