End of Life Vehicles Directive

On the 16th of November 2017, the European Commission published the Directive (EU) 2017/2096 of 15 November 2017 amending Annex II to Directive 2000/53/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council on end-of life vehicles.

This directive specifies new limits, scopes and expiry dates for exemption for lead, hexavalent chromium, mercury and cadmium in various automotive parts and components.
