EC: Feedback period open for initiative on emissions testing (cars and vans)
Two implementing acts for Car & Van emissions testing – calculation of CO2 emissions for 2020 (WLTP) are open for feedback till 10th of September 2019.
The draft implementing act is mainly focused on CO2 emission values calculation for Not-Off-Vehicle Charging Hybrid Electric Vehicles (NOVCHEV), Off-Vehicle Charging Hybrid Electric Vehicles (OVC-HEV) and light commercial vehicles for which the type-approval has been granted pursuant to Regulation (EC) No 595/2009. These type of vehicles will need to physical tested instead of using a correlation factor.
