CLEPA joins ‘SYNERGIES’-project for autonomous driving

The EU-funded project ‘SYNERGIES’ aims at creating a European platform to improve the development, testing, and validation of autonomous mobility systems

On 11-12 June, 33 partners kicked off the EU-funded project ‘SYNERGIES’ in Barcelona, aimed at creating a European platform designed to improve the development, testing, and validation of autonomous mobility systems. Leading partner, IDIADA Automotive and Technology, gathered partners at their headquarters for a two-day event, including work package introductions and workshops for the participants. Partners include larger automotive companies such as Stellantis, Forvia, BMW, ZF as well as universities and associations, including TUE, TNO and CLEPA.

Over the next three years, the project partners will collaborate on a new open-source platform that displays collected data for testing and validating self-driving vehicles in Europe.

The key objectives of the SYNERGIES-project include:

  • Definition of user-requirements
  • Optimising data collection and analysis
  • Development of training material and piloting report

CLEPA will contribute to the project with promotional and dissemination efforts through our network of stakeholders.
