Action plan for connected and automated driving
The German Federal Ministry of Transport published an action plan for connected and automated driving, following the 2nd High Level Structural Dialogue on 14th-15th September 2017 in Frankfurt, bringing together Member States, the European Commission and industry representatives.
The document proposes several recommendations in order to accelerate and improve the deployment of connected and automated driving accross Europe, focusing on 3 main issues:
- Cross-border cooperation on testing;
- Public awareness/ social impact/ ethical issues;
- Data access / Use of data.
