REGISTRATIONS ARE NOW CLOSED
The automotive industry uses a large number of materials to build vehicles including iron, aluminium, steel, glass, rubber and copper. These materials have evolved greatly over the decades, becoming more sophisticated, better built, and safer. Their use has evolved in parallel with the new automotive manufacturing technologies that now are increasingly using innovative ways.
Highly performance materials contribute to creating lighter vehicles, reinforcing their environmental performance. Research and development into lightweight materials are essential for lowering their cost, increasing their ability to be recycled, enabling their integration into vehicles, and maximizing their fuel economy benefits. Light-weighting without loss of strength and speed properties is the present, and the future, of the automotive manufacturing industry. It brings innovative materials to the frontline of design.
CLEPA, the European Association of Automotive Suppliers, is pleased to bring together worldwide experts to discuss these, and other topics during the “Materials Regulation Event”. This event is the largest conference on Materials Regulation in Europe and therefore, one of the most eagerly awaited meetings of the industry every year. Organised by CLEPA, along with the support of DXC, will be held on the 21st and 22nd May 2019 in Stuttgart.
The CLEPA Materials Regulations Event gathers together high-level representatives from the entire automotive industry and is open to all. Now on its 12th edition, it has been recognized as a perfect platform to discuss technical issues related to materials and the most recent legislative developments at European and international level.
Topics on the agenda include among others, the REACH, IMDS, GADSL, ELV and Brexit. This would also be a unique opportunity to get to know more about the most recent activities performed by international partner associations in Asia and America.
