The European NEV Industry Chain Conference 2024 (ENEV 2024), scheduled for May 6-7th in Munich, Germany, will address the accelerating adoption of new energy vehicles (NEVs) in Europe, driven by the target of achieving zero emissions by 2035.
The conference, themed “Driving Green Innovation: Premier NEV Platform for a Sustainable Future in Europe,” will provide updates on NEV industry developments across several European countries and facilitate collaboration among industry stakeholders to advance local innovation technologies. Topics will include strategies for European OEMs, battery manufacturers and suppliers, to take on opportunities in light of ongoing anti-subsidy investigations into Chinese electric vehicles and the growing demand from local consumers for cost-effective choices.
CLEPA’s Head of Market Affairs, Nils Poel, will be participating in the panel discussion: “The Key Role of Authorities and Associations in the New Energy Vehicle and Battery Industry of Europe”, where he will be sharing insights into:
- How governments can help keep electrification on track
- The importance of an industrial deal to support the development of the EV supply chain
- The development of a strong innovative ecosystem of EV component suppliers and the need to competitive strengths.
