First multi-cluster workshop held to align on the Connected, Cooperative, Automated Mobility Partnership goals

The CCAM (Connected, Cooperative, Automated Mobility) Partnership Association organised its first multi-cluster workshop in Brussels on 31 March, providing an opportunity for members to finally meet in person since its establishment in 2020. The main scope of the workshop was to collect feedback regarding the topics to be addressed under the CCAM Partnership.

During the opening of the meeting, representatives from the European Commission’s Directorate General Research and Innovation (DG RTD) highlighted the very good results already achieved with more than 180 members participating in the Association, with others applying to join over the coming months.

CLEPA, together with EPoSS (European Technology Platform on Smart Systems Integration), is co-leading the “Vehicle Technologies” cluster to address key R&I actions on Environment Perception, On-Board Decision Making, Safety and HMI.

The workshop provided a unique opportunity to gather feedback regarding on-going activities and to identify potential gaps in terms of topics still not addressed in the Partnership, with the aim to use the inputs received to update the CCAM Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda (SRIA), as well as to define future topics for the 2024/2025 Horizon-Europe Work Programme.
