Trilateral Meetings

Trilateral Meetings are a platform for exchange of information and for joint activities between CLEPA, JAPIA and MEMA/OESA. A memorandum of understanding was signed between the associations in 2002, in order to foster global harmonisation in the automotive supply industry. Achievements up to today include common representation at WP.29 meetings and UN meetings on GTR, as well as enhancing suppliers’ influence at the UN through a global network of contacts with regulatory authorities.

Amongst planned joint activities for the future are a Common Skills Initiative and the “Davos for Suppliers“: an initiative to set up a summit for automotive associations.
